Whizzbang Facepainting - Fun for all ages!
Health & Safety
Safety is of paramount importance to me, especially as I work with children every day.
All the paints that I use are hypo-allergenic, cosmetic grade paints, (Snazaroo, Kryolan, Mehron, DiamondFX, Grimas, etc.) which are safe for your skin. If a 'skin test' is required, a small amount of product will be put on your skin and if no reaction occurs within 30 minutes then I will be happy to proceed. A clean sponge is used for every person and brush water is changed regularly.
It is not advisable to paint the faces of children under the age of 3 due to the sensitivity of their skin. However it is possible to paint a design on their arm/hand, which has the added benefit of the child being able to see their design all day without the need for a mirror!
Professional make up glue and cosmetic grade glitter/pigment inks are used to create temporary tattoos, although skin reactions may still occur on sensitive skin for which I will not be held responsible.
All products are easily removed when required : Face paint is simply removed with soap and water; Pigment Ink Tattoos can be removed by gently rubbing with soap and water; Glitter Temporary Tattoos can be removed by rubbing gently with baby oil or moisturiser before washing; Colorini Ink Tattoos can be removed with rubbing alcohol or left to fade.
I will not paint anyone with broken skin due to skin conditions, cuts etc., or who have runny noses or cold sores, to avoid irritation or cross contamination.
I hold Public Liability Insurance for £5 million which is regularly maintained.
